Middle Sex is finally making sence to me. I have been horribly sick this past week, and no one got back to me with and kind of detail about the class. So I really do not know what is going on. I am feeling better now and will be in class on monday. Finally went to the docs and they put me on all kinds of stuff. I will see you this week!

Middle Sex id definitely not what I expected it to be. I wasnt sure what I really expected, but it took me by surprize. The begging was really hard to fallow with the time frame jumping all around.
I got to where she was growing up in Detroit City, being a young girl, with a mans mind. I really was like WTF? am I really reading this. But I am trying to stick through it, and it is becoming easier to read as the story goes on.
I almost dont want to read it because it is messed up, but I am a little intrigued on what will happen in the end.

Quize Bildungsroman

1. My Title would be ” Clutch”
2. I would write it in a Novel just because i think it would work best with how much information that would be there. I would probably start out at my current age of 21 and then go back when I was a child and go from there.
3. My Characters would be my mother and father, which would be the Caregiver, my mother, and my dad which is a Warrior. Then my brother and two sisters, which i cant really say what they would be, because we all have changed and grown so much over the years. Everyone is so much different now than they were before. Then I would have my friends which would be Dave, Nate, Jimmy, Jeremy, Walker, Jeff, and Dummy, these people had the most effect in my life, and all of their archetypes would change also. At some point we had conflicts and different events happened, so again i cant really say what they would be, because we all have changed.
4. I feel the main conflict would be me against the world, and all the challenges that I personally have gone through.
5. Surviving, and my home town Pittsburgh
6. I dont think I would emulate anyone, I have my own style. I wouldnt take some ideas on how it was set up like Middlesex, i liked how the time difference change it’s almost like going back in time, but I would do it in a different way.

In class we discussed the new concept of queer thoery. I couldnt really find to much information on it and was very confused on what it was really about. Its not about being attracted to to the same sex, but just about beging different from the norm.

With this in mind cant everyone appy Queer Thoery to their life? If you think about it we all come from differnt walks of life. We all come from diffent parts of the state, and sometimes even the country. So arnt we all different? All our customs cant all be the same. To me everyone in this class is queer.

We watched The Color purple, and we stoped when Sophi was aloud to go home and see her children. She hit a White male, and was in my impression was in jail. She was kind of a slave, becuase she was always with the white women that couldnt drive at all. I wasnt really sure what her punishment was.
